Q. Why haven't I got a quote yet?

Answer:

Whilst most of our quotes are instant, some can take a bit longer to be given to you. There are a few reasons why this could be.

  • ASAP or specific dates - If you've opted for a time frame other than economy (7-10 days) for collection and/or delivery all quotes need to be placed manually just to ensure everyone who gives you a quote are available on your chosen dates
  • Moving specialist items/vehicles- If you're moving an items that requires specialist transport (e.g. a piano or static caravan) quotes have to be entered manually to ensure they are accurate.
  • Smaller Items- Most of the companies using the site will be used to moving larger items and might avoid placing quotes for parcels sized ones. For parcel quotes please check out our partner parcel firms: deliveryquotecompare.com/parcel-delivery/parcel-brokers
  • International Parcels/Freight - For international freight there are several factors that need to be taken into account to make sure your quote is as accurate as it can be. For this reason we will refer you direct to companies by giving you their contact details to discuss the job further
